This is the story of Jonathon and Teresa.
A friend of mine has known Jonathon for quite some time, and on hearing he was getting married and looking for a wedding photographer he kindly put them in touch with me.
We had a meeting a couple of months before to discuss their wedding plans and to see if I could help them with the photography. They were happy for me to do it and I was delighted as always that they had chosen me.
So their big day was to take place at Makeney Hall Hotel in Derbyshire, A lovely hall and destination to get married. They had decided that they wanted something different, not the typical church then sit down meal and dance. Instead they had a registrar, and then a stand up buffet, they also, as you can hopefully see form the photo's, put their own ideas and thoughts into their day, making it very unique and special, this included a 4 piece string quartet and guests making their own confetti from different herbs and flower petals.
Original idea was to have the reception out in the garden, however the Weather on the day had decided differently! Determined not to let their clients down, Makeney Hall quickly allowed them to use their, roofed courtyard.
Home made decorations for their big day included the above window, ladder of pictures and candle lanterns (Not shown on here) hanging from the roof. And Below The love heart carried by the couples Daughter/Bridesmaid.
The juggling barman, who supplied guests with a selection of cocktails chosen by the couple, each one individually incorporating part of the rhyme, "something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue". Along with proper cloudy Lemonade.
